Assistant Professor

Department of physics

Hi, I am a Professor in the Department of Physics at SUNY Oswego. I teach a wide range of courses from Introductory Physics to Thermodynamics, Quantum Mechanics and Materials Science. I am an experimentalist and as such I also teach upper division Laboratory courses Quantum Lab and Optics Lab, and Capstone Research course in the Department of Physics

My main research interests center around Nanotechnology. My students and Ispecialize in the colloidal synthesis of nanoparticles, optical and structural characterization of the nanoparticles, Electrophoretic Assembly of nanoparticle heterostructures, and Solar Cell and Lithium Ion Battery applications of nanoparticles.
